Happy 3rd Birthday XBox 360

As most of you already know, the XBox 360 had its 3rd birthday on November 22nd.
I wish I were this accomplished at age 3. Pretty sure Mozart has it beat, but not too many others.
Before you start complaining about the infamous RROD, thank MS for giving us the best console of this generation. When I say best, it's total package - hardware, games library, online community. Sure the PS3 has it beat in certain aspects on the hardware front, and the Wii (mostly because of price and savvy marketing) has outsold it worldwide, but in terms of quality games, console-specific games (like Halo 3 and Gears of War 1 & 2, among others), the largest and easiest to use online infrastructure with XBox LIVE, the console of choice for ALL major league gaming entities, and best controllers (yep, PlayStation fanboys, I said it - the BEST controllers bar none) the XBox 360 has more than proven itself.
In just 3 short years, the XBox 360 has already outsold the original XBox worldwide (that's over 25 millions systems, people!).
Can't wait to light candles for the 4th...and 5th...and 6th...oh, you get it.

Posted On Nov 29 2008Agreed it's the best of this generation. XBox LIVE is unparalleled right now for online gaming, and the games library for the 360 beats any other system hands-down.
