1. My XBL odyssey has begun

   I bit the bullet and actually created my own personal gamertag (IM SilentBob), created an avatar that looks like a funhouse version of myself, and started to accumulate those all-important achievements. So if you see this tag, it's actually me. Before, I'd just play on one of my generic Cyber Ops accounts (CyberOpsOne, CyberOpsTwo, etc), so you never knew if it was me or one of our many customers.
   
   I played a little GHIII, some GH:World Tour and Prince of Persia (I REALLY dig this game) today.
   
   Drumroll...I've got a whopping 140 Gamerscore now. Woot! Just wait until I crack four digits.
   
   I've even got a couple friends already. OK - one is my employee Jordan and one is my nephew Mitch, but it still counts, right?
   
   Feel free to send a Friend request over XBL. Just don't be surprised if my tag doesn't appear all that frequently. My precious time, sadly, doesn't allow for a whole lot of fun.

   Well, after a few rousing family rounds of Scene It (myself, Boobacca, our mom, our other brother), my Gamerscore jumped through the roof.
   
   Achievements were pretty simple for this game, but I'm nowhere close to having them all.
   
   Wasn't trying to pad my newfound Gamerscore at all. We were just having fun.
   
   I also tried my hand at some Soul Calibur IV, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, and the opening of the campaign for Call of Duty 4. I absolutely suck at FPS games. My son was excited that I was trying to play, so he had me ditch the campaign and play him one-on-one, where he proceeded to hand me my posterior 750-60. I've got a little work to do on COD, that's for sure!
   
   1410 is where I sit as of this writing (12-28-08). Not too shabby for less than a week. It'll probably be pretty stagnant for awhile now that Christmas Break is drawing to a close and I actually have to start working for a living again!

   No - that's cool. I might sit down and do this one of these days myself. I'm sure I've earned more than a few achievements on our various house accounts. I'm sure my boys would think it's cool they actually get to battle their dad online!
