   I wanted to stop by and share that we've got an upcoming video game event here in Des Moines NEXT weekend (7/25 & 7/26)!
   
   We could really use your help to help bring the fun to our first church that's hired us to help run a large gaming element. Both Saturday and Sunday evening, the event only runs from 5-9pm, so we'd have plenty of time to enjoy other things during the weekend if you'd like and this large church is allowing us to spread the GoG word too!
   
   We could use some of your gaming equipment if you're cool with that, as we'll be running 8 gaming stations each evening. I have more details and I hope you can make it...so let me know your thoughts asap...

    Hey man, I see you are a drummer. Nice score on Expert sandman... I just hit 225k last night, trying to hit gold stars before I post up on scorehero! Have you tried Don't Fear the Reaper on drums yet? I'm stuck on that song right now in my expert tour. (which is gay cause I can beat Won't Get Fooled Again all the time).

    The only vocal track I dare try on Expert is (Don't Fear) The Reaper & I actually do pretty damn good if I do say so myself!

    PS: I forgot to mention that all of my scores were accomplished using a GH2 Xplorer controller cuz' Ryan doesn't have the Fender one. Which is good except the fact that being able to finger tap the solos might help me on some songs but otherwise I hated the Fender when I tried yours that 1 night at SCI when we all played Enter Sandman.

    So my friend Ryan left his 360 & Rock Band over at my house for a few days while he is in New Zealand on vacation. I put up some photos of some things I've done on the game in my less than 24 hours of play time. But for the record I have 5 stars on all songs but like 3 & I have probably close to 30 gold star songs now, I just didn't get pics of all of them.

    I was sad I didn't get to rock the drums on Thurs. night but you tore it up man. I would have done better but it was my 1st time using the actual Rock Band guitar controller but it was still fun. We'll have to play some more RB together on the 16th if we have time between me competing in the GH3 Expert division & whatever you'll be running around doing.

    Actually there is a way to play on your own heheh. i have gone tribeless but I have lots who watch out for me so I have been lucky, I did loose 3 villages this past week and will get them back shortly nothing else new though have been playing that with one guy i know since aug now and we kinda hit all the worlds including the italian servers..     There's one glaring thing that I found to be *highly* annoying. You cannot take "guests" onto XBox Live with you. At least, I haven't figured out how to yet. I've seen no way to mix Local )split screen) with XBox Live at all, which means that we can't have 2 + 2 coop across the internet. I haven't had a chance to experiment with System Link, but if it has the same issue, I'm going to be HIGHLY disappointed.
    
    
    
    I haven't played on Live yet (due to the above rant), but I'll also write a Cronicle on my Halo 3 adventures when I've experienced more of it.

     I've played HALO 3 just briefly the 1st night we picked it up. I don't like 2 things about playing LIVE. You die even quicker than halo 2 and the grenades seem less powerful! Other than that I haven't had a chance to play the campaign. I'll have to jam hard on it the next few days then write a chronicle!

     Also just picked up Halo 3. I'm kinda on the fence about it overall. As for single-player campaign, I'd rather play Bio Shock or Gears of War, but the multiplayer promises to be super sweet!

     I spoke with the manager at the Ankeny GameStop yesterday. I don't think he'll be able to send them directly to each of the stores, even though they'll have them at that location. You had mentioned stopping out to a few places and suggesting the idea of handing out flyers and I think we should move forward with that.
     
     
     
     Try and get them to post and hand the small flyers out now, but if they're interested in doing something on a larger scale, maybe for the Halo 3 release parties, let them know you can get 200-300 more flyers. Don't be afraid to mention we're also looking for corporate support, if the conversation turns that direction.
     
     
     
     We're ready to print more flyers at a moment's notice, because we'd really like to use Halo 3 as a entry point to alot of gamers

     We have a text based game online and i am one of the mods if your interested, i'll give you the link. Gives your imagination some working lol. I have both games and we beat Redemption. Bloodlines hasn't been played by me for a while now needed to upgrade the vid card. So far its what i expected.      Gratz on beating it. It shouldn't be much harder on hard except for the Big Daddies. I did exactly what you did though - rescued them all on medium. I'm about 85% through it on hard, but I'm taking a WoW break (because my wife finally agreed to play it with me!) which requires the use of my LCD for my PC. I will return to it again for sure. And probably start a third run-through.

     Hey I finished Bioshock last night.... took me 3 days to beat it on medium. I rescued all the little ones... This next time I'm going to see how the game turns out if I harvest them all. I'm at work right now on a break.. haha!

     The weapon switching interface looks a bit different, and I assume the plasmid switching interface is similarly different (if that makes sense?). Hard is available as an initial choice on 360. I don't know if there's a difficulty after yet, but I will.

     Classic!! Thats awesome..I almost wish I didnt kill him my way just to see what else I cud have killed him with But it was dreadfully short the game . altho I hav'nt been able to pick up all the Audio diary's cause I think I left 2 in Ryans office...and now that Ive finished the game I cant go back to get them without starting all over Hard Difficulty was only available to me after I completed the game on Medium...is there that much of a difference between the 2?

     I don't really do the virus thing (not that I thought you were serious), but there's some good prank software to be found at http://www.rjlsoftware.com/ (I like the mouse droppings one personally - it makes your mouse cursor poop randomly on your screen)

     As a prank the science teacher left a bag of dissected chicken wings from last week in Alis class room. Then, he struck again this morning!

     Well, honestly, the game is pretty much just killing when you boil away the atmosphere and pretty wrapper, but then again, most games are.

     So, I've been playing BioShock for just over and hour now and I think I've established some sort of an early opinion.
     
     
     
     I'm enjoying the game thus far. Reminds me of the game Dead Rising. Similarities in Gore and mindless killing. The graphics could have been improved but I've seen worse. Navigation throughout the game has been xtremely easy (I like that as well). However, I do not like the fact that I've been going through the same predictable maze of buildings for the entire hour. Every building is the same... You walk through the door and you kill a few guys or a few women. I do hope that aspect of the game changes.
     
     
     
     Overall grade as of now is a B!

     After you've had a chance to form your own opinion, would you kindly tell me if I'm being accurate or just serving as a 2K Games evangelist? I'd be very surprised if you're disappointed in the game. Even though ArenaceusMaga's comments are valid, I didn't see it as being a problem. It all comes down to personal opinion anyway, right?

     Thanks for the ratings, guys. I'll try to put some more games I've played up when I have time (Overlord comes immediately to mind). I doubt they'll be as extensive as Bio Shock though.
