    I don't really know what to type in here as a "chronicle" so this very first entry will just be me... rambling, I guess.

    Hey. It's a start. Lemme alone. Very Happy

    I'm still amazed that Duke Nukem: Forever isn't outright either canceled or released... I can understand a company waiting until a game is "done" (Blizzard does it all the time, Nintendo's notorious for pushing back release dates, and the Half-Life crew always takes longer than expected), but it's been over TEN YEARS, fellas! Even ME, I could've made/finished/released/patched/released a sequel for a game by now, and I don't even know how to program! That's including the time it would take me to learn!

    AND, they still release shots of it! They're shown clips here and there, and even released a trailer as late as December of 2007 on the 3D Realms website. Really? Do we need to see the "progress" you've made now that you've switched to only a FOUR-year-old game engine (the Doom 3 engine is being plugged in there as they restart this time around).

    What's sad in my head is... I guess I'll buy it. If my system can handle it, I'd play it. Mostly admittedly because I'm curious about how it will turn out (if they ever turn it out!). Really, some people HAVE to be curious about a game that's been put off time and time again for the past decade. I want to know if it's indeed going to be the best shooter there has ever been, or it'll end up how I think it will: a pieced-together lump of WTF that will make me laugh more AT it than WITH it. Either way, should be entertaining.

    Even if it's a waste of... what, forty bucks? *shrug*

    Thanks for the kind words! Like I said, I'd play it if it ever makes it to the sales floor... still on the fence though! ^_^

    haha, with a development schedule like that, you have to assume the game will completely blow you away...too bad after that much time, the specs they were building the game for have changed so much, it'll probably look just like the old one Laughing

    Nice start to your Chronicles as well!
