   Well I just finished the single player campaign on normal mode and I am working my way back through on legendary (although I think I might save that for co-op).
   
   
   
   It took me the better part of 7 hours to complete the game, and although most of the game was great I have to say I wanted more.
   
   
   
   Overall the game just feels rushed. There were many levels that seemed like they were greatest hits levels from the previous games just with apes instead of lizard men.
   
   
   
   Here is a rundown of what I liked-
   
   
   
   I loved new vehicles. There is nothing more fun than rolling around on a chopper and ramming a ghost into the stratosphere. Although it doesn't really matter too much, the fact that the scorpion only has a main cannon now kinda bugs me. You just can't lay down the punishing fire like before.
   
   
   
   Also the new flying unit for the humans is fantastic. It is able to just tear apart scarabs like they are tin cans.
   
   
   
   My favorite new addition to the game is the gravity hammer. I feel like a norse god swinging that thing. Not to mention the ability to stop vehicles dead in their tracks, but also to swat missiles back at your opponent. Another cool weapon is the spartan laser. It may take a bit to charge, but once it does look out!! It will take out a wraith in one shot. The other addition that I loved is all the equipment you can get now. Radar jammers, shields, shield boosters, shield sappers, deployable shields, grav lifts, mines, they all work great, with the exception of the auto turret which seems to do nothing.
   
   
   
   Ok here goes my story mode review- short and to the point-
   
   
   
   1. The game is too short.
   
   2. Normal mode is too easy. Even when there are 100 flood you can wade into it and come out with energy left in your shields.
   
   3. The arbiter's AI blows.
   
   4. The computer AI is great!
   
   5. The level design is very similar to halo 1. Which I love because Halo 1 is still my favorite (as far as level design goes).
   
   
   
   6. On a bad note the wonderment feels lost. I look out over vistas full of troops and no longer say "WOW" I say where is my brute shot and detached minigun?
   
   
   
   I can still remember in Halo 1 the first time I looked up at the halo over my head and was breathless.
   
   
   
   The Flood levels were much better designed (lots of fights are optional) and they are shorter than previous versions of Halo.
   
   
   
   The following section isn't a spoiler, just my opinion of the ending...you can give my your impressions when you finish.

   Last level on legendary is a bitch at the start mainly because of all of the flood. But the driving bit made it totally worth it! Oh how awesome it felt driving around that thing!

   I like the review... I haven't even started the campaing. I hope that's not a bad thing considering I'm the co-founder of this site, HAHA! Hope you can get to the SCI the 11th. I'll have to join the VENUE the next time I've got Sun. off... which us usually never

   I think with Halo, you'll always be left with wanting more because it's so awesome, haha. Does the ending suck, or do you just wish the ending would never come!
