When Gamers Meet - Strangers Become Friends

Last night I met up with a friend for a few drinks after work. He brought another co-worker who, as we had some good conversation, was clearly a gamer at heart.
It's funny, but awesome how video games can break any sort of personality barriers and create a common ground that is fun to chat about. Before long, we were debating Madden vs. NCAA football games, how great Mario Galaxy is, discussing new games, and of course talking about GoG and the recent events we've been developing.
I always have a few GoG fliers in my wallet, so I grabbed a pen, wrote my GT on the back, and we're going to connect for some Madden 09 this weekend.
