Shogun Rua vs. Chuck Liddell - The Demo

1 minute 30 seconds into the first round of my game of UFC Undisputed 2009, I, using the fists of Shogun Rau knocked out Chuck Liddell.
Haha, as you may have guessed, I downloaded the recently released UFC Undisputed 2009 demo on Xbox Live today.
After I got home from the office, I played a few games of Halo 3 with LadyLiliBean (congrats again!) while we enjoyed the conversation with a number of other GoG members in the XBL party, but after a few matches, it was time to play this demo.
To be honest, I had no idea it was even available, but with a little luck I noticed it was ready and I must say...I'm impressed.
You're only able to use Chuck or Shogun for this demo, but it's enough to feel what this game is going to bring to the octagon. I thought the pre-fight animations felt VERY much like the real broadcast and I'd assume an HD TV would heighten this flavor even more!
Once you get to the action, I felt like the game wants you to fight standing up, but soon I was experimenting with grappling and taking Mr. Liddell down to the mat. I'm still a total noob, but dazing your opponent with a huge kick and jumping on top of him to pummel him with fists until his head goes limp...gave me a violent sense of satisfaction
I don't know if this is a special game because of E3 2008's experiences with the THQ guys, but the UFC Undisputed 2009 demo has quickly convinced me that my excitement over in the GoG Forum (Xbox 360 section) will ring true and I will be satisfied with a game that looks to be a lot of fun!
