Without Xbox Live

My previous roommate's house was sold and as Jodie and I are waiting to move into our new place until we get married next month, another friend offered his place as a temporary home base.
This house is awesome I must admit, and the theater basement is quite a treat, but without a wireless adapter for my Xbox 360 and the router being far from any TV...I may be temporarily without Xbox Live for a few weeks.
Believe me, this is pretty hard for me to swallow, as gaming consists of online games so much, but maybe this will give me some motivation to work through some of the campaigns that I'm somewhat embarrassed to not have completed.
I'll do what I can to connect back into XBL as much as possible, but if I'm slow to respond, now you know why
