  1. BEN The Black Eyed Peas – The End

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 06 2009

It’s like the quiet before the storm.

We’ve got E3 2009 in LA highlights from this week, MLG Columbus coverage from our 1st sponsorship contest winners, Team Foxy and many others from top MLG players/fans, and some personal adventures of many…coming shortly!

I’m working on the media to upload from E3 2009 right now (we took tons) and I’m enjoying the new sounds from The Black Eyed Peas, so had to start with this. I bet you’re wondering about the title of this Chronicle of mine and how it relates, but you’ve read far enough and now you will know…

    [BEGIN CRAZY]

The last night in LA, my new friend Sumeet from Dubai (who you’ll meet very soon) and I went out on Hollywood Blvd. and after he had talked to his new/great friend in the nightlife scene, we walked up the sidewalks that have all those golden stars you’ve seen in Hollywood and cruised into a place called LAX. This was the opposite of the airport you might have thought of when I said LAX, lol.

This was a hip-hop club that was hittin and intensely awesome. After getting past the line, appreciating no cover, and enjoying some private drinks as the place opened, LAX opened to a scene that was a true life experience. It was a packed house and I was one of three-five white people in the house all night. I can’t say I’ve ever felt this way in a club (or anywhere else for that matter) before, but with Sumeet, we fully embraced the evening and met many new friends and enjoyed a true party.

It was the second night I heard “California Love” by 2Pac and some Snoop Dogg from Doggystyle (I’ll share the other night’s outings in a seperate Chronicle), but this time it was shorter samples and still just as sweet. Oddly and unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of this experience but our new MEGamers.com friend from Dubai, Sumeet, will vogue for its awesomeness.

Alright, obviously this Chronicle has turned into a story instead of a review of this amazing new album coming from The Black Eyed Peas, but I apologize and will now explain the title for real this time…

    [START TITLE REASONING FOR REAL]

So this club’s manager and new friend of Sumeet and I’s came up to us as we were enjoying many great drinks at the bar (many free cocktails and fun shots before 11pm, haha), and asked if we liked The Black Eyed Peas or Eminem. She had two cds in her hand and we enjoy both so of course said, sure! Sumeet was given the Enimem album to check out and I got the unreleased Black Eyed Peas album “The End”!

I saw Boom Boom Pow as the first of 15 tracks and had to assume this was the album that I’ve personally been waiting for and I think the Eminem album was the one we’ve discussed briefly in the GoG Forum, so maybe Sumeet can share his thoughts on that, but this cd I got is perfect for anyone who likes music, haha, that’s YOU.

If you like the loud setting and want to jump almost any party, buy this album the day it comes out.

I looked it up and it will be released 6.9.09, which is four days from now, but I’m listening to it and will be sharing some samples on this week’s GoGcast Season 2 - Episode 5 for sure.

It’s so hot, I’ve two of the tracks on Jodie and I’s wedding soundtrack already Wink

    lol

but this cd I got is perfect for anyone who likes music

Hehehe...BEN, BEN, BEN, BEN, BEN...I'm sure you know that I am most certainly going to critique this CD now...and with wording like that I may just be a bit more, deep with my words. Laughing This is gonna be fun! And by the way if you have a wedding soundtrack I highly suggest some Boston...But most importantly listen to Dream Theater's "I Walk Beside You". It's the love song John Petrucci wrote for his wife and one of the few songs about love I find to be unique and actually meaningful!
