  1. BEN I'm Selling The GoGmobile

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Nov 03 2009

Although I look forward to putting the GOG license plate on a new vehicle, it's sad/exciting to share that I'm selling my car this week.

With four new tires, updated alignment, fresh synthetic oil, and today's beautiful detailing job; this Dark Grey 2001 Lexus IS300 is ready to sell! I've really enjoyed this car the last 4-5 years and although it hates the snow, I'm sure the next owner will enjoy it just as much as I did Very Happy

I'm not certain as to how much I'm asking for it (likely around $10K-$11K), but how does this description sound...in case I have to post it around the web:

This 2001 Lexus IS300 (Dark Grey | 4 door | Automatic | 95K Miles | RWD | 6-Cyl. 3.0 Liter | Moonroof | Clear Title) is super clean, has almost all the available options, and I've really taken care of it. Beyond some minor hail damage, the entire car has very few marks on the exterior. The interior, which is leather/fabric and has a black/red flavor with bucket seats, is flawless.

I replaced the rims of this car a year and a half ago, with the same ones I had previously, because they look so good. The brakes, rotors, and calipers were replaced earlier this year and brand new tires, alignment, and synthetic oil were applied in late October 2009. All the windows were tinted, but after a few tickets, I've gotten the front side tint removed so it is legal in Iowa.

The only thing this car needs is a CD player replacement, even though the radio still works. It has just over 95,000 miles on it and will run forever. One downside to the car is its performance in snow. Having a second vehicle to drive during the winter is recommended.

With saying it could run forever, you could put you know someone who has a Lexus that has over 300,000 miles and is still running great, to show the reliability of Lexus'. The person is my grandpa who has had 3 accidents with the car and its still running great even with that many miles. It might help people unfamiliar with the amount of wear and tear they can take to buy the car

I have an IDEA!!! You should sell this and buy a giant RV with a gog themed paint job and drive cross country on it and we could stop at major cities and along the way spreading the word and we can throw a party on board!!!!!
