Photo Gallery Limit

I'm proud to say that I've reached the GoG system limit of photos in my GoG Photo Gallery.
I suppose this isn't GOOD news, but I had forgot we built that functionality in, so it was a nice surprise to see it worked when I tried to upload my 101th photo, haha.
I went through and deleted a few of the weaker shots and dropped in a couple new ones that I like. We also just got all the professional photos from Lance Suey @ KidsFest, so I'm sure that profile (KidsFest 2008) will be maxed out over the weekend as well!
Has anyone else reached their photo limit? As the site gets older, we might have to consider ways to to increase the count and maybe add album features too...I like how MySpace has corporate sponsorship for development like that and maybe we can connect for something similiar

Posted On Mar 14 2008You should look at Gallery 2.0 it is a open source free solution for image galleries (server side) there are no limits except the amount of disk space on your server. And since it is open source you can create your own flavor fairly easy.

I haven't reached my limit yet, but I've seen that there are a few other members who are close.
I should have a good amount of pictures in the next couple of weeks from the GH3 tournament in Ankeny, and a little get-together I'm going to after that, so we'll see how close I get!
