GoG Game Night - GTA4

RyuBlitz and I headed up to Cyber Ops tonight, to join the gamers there and jump online to play with a bunch of you GoG members for GoG Game Night.
Got there right around 7pm and got the party started in some GTA4. Don't get me wrong, GTA4 is a great game that I've enjoyed alot, but multiplayer borders on dumb. We were constantly fighting against the multiplayer formats that were anything but smooth or logical, and although we had some great laughs and fun because we all knew each other, soon we decided to switch over to Halo 3, so we could connect with Kupo Cakes on her birthday
Everyone popped in the different disc and we had a lobby of 10-12 people in a matter of minutes. We finished the night with some different matches that were all fun and I have to mention we went Purple vs. Pink most of the night, lol. It was great because RyuBlitz and I were there playing with 4-5 people at Cyber Ops, but also chatting and having a good time with GoG members online. Overall, it was a total success and we ended up going from 7-9:30pm. Thanks again to Silent Bob, for letting us crash the party at Cyber Ops and I'm sure we'll be there next GoG Game Night!
Afterwards, RyuBlitz, Boobacca, and I sat around and enjoyed a G33K B33R. It was my first time, haha, and it tasted pretty good...no wonder I'm still up and writing this Chronicle tonight
We'll do another GoG Game Night soon, but until next time, Happy 4th of July everyone!

Its extremely fun and takes alot of strategy. It would be perfect for a GoG game night! -

Posted On Jul 03 2008That was pretty fun last night. Sorry about my internet being a piece of crap - I don't know if it would matter, but my roommate was downloading some gigantic file on his PC upstairs at the time. Since we share an internet connection via router, could that slow my connection down?
Anyway, it seemed to fix itself as we kept playing, taking away my ability to teleport behind RyuBlitz and shoot him in the head. Sorry about that. -

Posted On Jul 03 2008Wow, that was a great time. I ended up staying even later and played quite a few rounds of Infection with the CyberOps guys. I think I left around 11:30...
