District 9 = Halo

Well I really want to see the movie district 9 because it looks soooo sick and action packed! While over on youtube I was watching the trailers and teasers of district 9, and after the video was over i scrolled down and read a comment saying the creators of District 9 (Neil Blowkamp) and (Peter Jackson) are making it to build a good reputation for the Halo movie they are going to make! So I just want to know is this true and where can you find the info?!
(I will post a video saying "district 9 trailer" for those who have yet to see it!!)

Posted On Jul 23 2009I too found the trailer interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of movies that have action, just for the sake of having a ton of "action".
I also don't know much about this supposed Halo movie, but I have enjoyed the WoW-movie conversation over in the GoG Forum lately, haha.
Good old video games...always leading the movie industry these days
