Well halo 3 got kind of boring some how one day so I thought I would pop gears 2 in. Played it for a while and thought this is really addicting if you can hold your own against other players. I think what makes gears 2 more interesting than Halo 3 at times is when you pull out your shotgun and shoot someone and watch their body explode or sniping someone in the head and hearing their skull bust into pieces! I think if halo 3 had that simple animation it would be that much more fun! With that said I think gears 2 should be a game that everyone should try and you may get the gears of war bug like me!!

Posted On Aug 18 2009The good thing about gears 2 is there are game types where you respawn after you die! I know what you mean I hated that in gears 1!

Posted On Aug 18 2009i was a halo 3 freak, got on gears 2, and been hooked ever since. got to the point i got myself a gears back pack and got a homemade "cog " necklace lol

I personally struggled to get too involved with GoW because I sucked and wasn't getting much better anytime soon. The way you have to wait after you die, really killed my enjoyment so after committing a little time/effort into the game, I pulled away and haven't returned.
It's not that I don't think this game is BA, but it's just not for me.
