    X-Box Live Accessories

One of the great things about the X-box 360 and Microsoft in general is the amount or accessories you can buy for it. I know of a few that I'd like to have and I also know that the ones I've got are pretty freakin' sweet. In total I've gotten three of them to date, they are the X-Box Universal Media Remote Control, the X-Box 360 Quick Charge Kit, and two Rechargeable Batteries. I've also got another wireless controller, but I assume you all know what they do.

To start off with, the Universal Media Remote is an awesome thing to have. It makes life much easier, especially for someone like me who has a lot of clutter and tends to lose things ( i.e. T.V. Remotes). It's extremely easy to use, and is quick to set up, taking me no more than two minutes to get the code for my T.V. programmed into it. I'm also what most people would call a moviephile, I love movies and can not get enough of them. I use my 360 to watch movies almost as much as I use it to play games, and having this makes it so much easier, compared to using the controller. All of the control buttons are clearly marked, there is a guide button at the top which you can use to see who's online/check your messages. There is a Media Center button, which you can use to instantly access all of your media, such as movies and music. My only complaint is that it seems to work better with certain T.V.s rather than other ones, for instance, when programmed to the T.V. in my room, I can control everything except to turn down the volume. Whereas when I program it to the one in the living room, it works perfectly.

All in all, I give it a 8.5/10.

    Functionality – 8/10
    Form - 9/10

The next one I'd like to talk about is the Quick Charge Kit. This will be a short one because there is virtually nothing wrong with this. I took it out of the package, plugged it in to a wall outlet, and plugged in my rechargeable batteries. They instantly began charging and within 3 hours they were both fully charged and ready to go. The batteries say that they have a 25 hour life, but I swear I've been playing on one battery for a week now and it still hasn't started bugging out on me saying it's almost empty.

    I give this, a 10/10
Functionality – 10/10 (works perfectly and just as it was intended)
Form - 10/10 (It's small and unobtrusive and doesn't take up much space at all)

Then we come to the batteries themselves. They're small, quick to use, and easy to charge up (assuming you've got the quick charger above). They last what seems like forever, and if you have more than one, it's easy to switch them out in-between matches if need be.

All in all, I give these a 9.5/10
Functionality – 10/10 (they work perfectly and fit in easily)
Form - 9/10 (white controller + black battery = stupid)
