E3 and Future Events

So E3 was insane. As a first time attendee, I was immediately blown away when I walked through the convention doors. The event was such a massive production all around. I had the chance to check out quite a few things, but more importantly, I was able to meet so many awesome people in the industry.
The highlights of my trip include the following events: meeting up with the Machinima crew who graciously welcomed me into the family over a fancy Quizno's meal, the SFX360 party, hanging with the Infinity Ward/Respawn Entertainment crew, a late night with Gunnar Optiks followed by a late night with IHOP, getting way too close to the Lakers Game 7 riots in downtown LA, and experiencing some of the best nightlife Hollywood has to offer.
On the serious side, I did get the chance to watch the demo of Call of Duty: Black Ops in the Activision meeting room. There was no multiplayer for viewing so I was kind of left hanging, but I did have a nice conversation with Josh Olin, Treyarch's community manager. I'm hoping for big things out of the game for casual and competitive gamers alike. As with every Call of Duty release, there was a to of buzz about Black Ops.
On the technology side, I had an in depth look at the new XBOX 360, Kinect, Move, and OnLive. All of which had impressive booths. I am particularly curious about OnLive's ability to produce a lag free arena to play games on a streaming platform.I'm still not sure if it will work well, but am anxious to find out.
All in all, my E3 experience was amazing. My only regret is that I wasn't able to catch up with Ben later in the week to get my sleeve of GoG Golf Balls. Save those for me buddy.

Thanks again for keeping us updated on your adventures and I'm jealous you're headed to PAX. I'm yet to see that event.
Lastly, the MLG news about Reach, DC, and Dallas is huge. I plan to be in Dallas, so make sure you plan to be there...
