Even with twin 8 month olds and a 3 year old, I'm still finding a half hour a night to game. God bless the PSP!

I had to sacrifice the PS2 to get the little buggar cause my budget is currently being devoured by cans of formula and the crapped into more expensive diapers, but I made the cut to the collection and brought in Mr. PSP.

The PSP is really an underrated game system. Sure, if you have a PS2, your getting mostly dupes. That's easily solved - sell your PS2 Smile I've been very impressed by Ace Combat, and Burnout Dominator has been seriously addicting also. I love that I can play both for a half hour in the comfort of my bed with a set of headphones.

I'll spare you a long winded review of both and say that I've found each are very enjoyable gaming experiences with pretty good replay value.

I don't want to get into a DS vs. PSP argument cause I used to hate the PSP and I have a DS my wife kidnapped, but I had heard the whole "no good games for the PSP" and it's simply not true. There are some really good portable versions of PS2 style games that don't loose anything on the translation. You still get the video, the 3D effects you would expect, and a modern home console experience you can emerse your self in without being tied to a TV.

In all honesty, if I could be melting my brain away in my man cave playing Ace Combat 5 or X, Burnout, or any other PS2 game, I wouldn't have looked twice at the PSP, but with no time to sit at a console, the PSP is a hell of a nice system.

Also, as an Internet Radio device, WiFi internet browser, widescreen for pictures, or even as an MP3 player, the little thing is pretty darn cool.

I wish Sony would make more Playstation stuff available for download as well cause I'm staying legal with the thing and there is not much to choose from at the moment.

Dude if you really want a good portable just get a DS! Sure some games are kiddy but you've got to expect that every now and then from Nintendo and overall most of the games are really fun and addicting. I've just never liked the look or control of the PSP and really there aren't many good games.

Grats on the twins! I can only imagine the workload...

I've recently aquired a PSP myself, and I'll have to agree, it's a nice portable gaming system! I'm currently playing through Final Fantasy - Crisis Core. I just finished Need for Speed Carbon's storyline (still need to find all the crates). I have those and the Jax and Daxter it came bundled with, but it looks like I'll have to check out Ace Combat and Burnout Dominator. Thanks for the recommendations!

I also use it to listen to internet radio while at work from time to time Smile

    Have Fun!
