Can't a guy play with a funny plastic guitar in peace?
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Mar 31 2008
So I've been having problems with my GH3 disk for awhile now and I think it might be scratched' even though I've never taken it anywhere or done anything but play it and Metroid for 2 months now, and I've heard that toothpaste helps somehow but don't want to completely ruin it so anyone got any tips on how to fix this? If you do it'd be greatly appreciated 'cause I've had Number of the Beast stuck in my head and I HAVE to play it!

Posted On Apr 02 2008Oh man that's an awesome idea, thanks! Anyways I just waited a day and wiped it off with a paper towel and it's workin' all right for now so I'll just wait untill I have time to go to the video store.

Posted On Mar 31 2008If you take the disc to a local movie rental store, they will usually run the disc through their buffer for you, for a small fee. I took a game that received a huge gash from a tipped 360 to my Family Video a while back. After about 5 minute and $2, you could barely even see the gash anymore, and the disc now works perfectly. IMO, it's a much safer and easier bet than attempting the toothpaste method.
