"Rocket League" Game Review

The video game “Rocket League” is my one of my favorite game to have fun on xbox one. This game may seem simple and boring but it’s really fun and you will never get bored playing it after hours. There is actually a lot of things you can do inside this game. You can play this game with your friends online and with other people around the world. This game is basically just soccer but with a twist! Instead of being a person, you are a car and you have boost. The boost is basically makes you go faster.
This game is a blast to play! It’s very easy to play if you use a controller, I’m not sure if it’s played on pc. You can go to the settings menu and change what each button does if you do not like the default controls. Each game is also only five minutes long so it’s definitely not long at all. There is also an overtime if each team has the same amount of goals by the end of the five minutes and whoever scores first in overtime wins the game. You can play by yourself or with your friends. There are many different game modes such as 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3, and 4vs4. Also there is competitive modes as well where you have a rank so you go against people within your skill range.
Next, the graphics are fairly decent. Yes they could be better but it’s a video game. The maps that you can play on look really nice and the cars that you can customize yourself look really detailed as well. The sounds of the car are good when you press the gas button. Also when you score a goal, the goal explodes and sends cars flying backwards and the sound of it is really cool too. You can go to private match and play against your friends as well. I would say this game is replayable, because even after an hour or two playing with your friends, it’s still really fun.
Even though it’s a soccer game with cars it may not seem fun but it really is to me. There is just so much you can do in this game and that’s what makes this game replayable. You can play on so many different maps and you can customize your own car by adding a different color, hats, decals, boost trails, and flags. It’s just a very well designed game and I wouldn’t want nothing to change about “Rocket League”!
