Player Chronicle -- Posted on Oct 05 2007

Ok so I have been playing the Halo Series since Halo came out with the first XBOX. I orignally never owned an XBOX or anything of that sort, I was very new to gaming at the time, but gaming opened my world and now I actually am going to school to become someone that makes video games.. cool eh? So i will cut to the chace.

Halo 1- I dont know if i even need to say much about this game. I bought A XBOX just for this damn game. Went home and played this game till i got 'D's' in school. Then i just played it have 10 minutes less everydayWink Okay so Halo 1 has to get around a 9.5for me if I had to give it a rating. The only downfall to this game was that the jumping was off when you touched A. It was a little late to respond and of course.. NO ONLINE! No when i look back on Halo 1 I loved how it forced gamers to get together and go to huge LAN parties. I can remember on the last day of my freshmen year, 3 friends and I made a Halo team for the LAN party that night and wore them to school. People called us geeks and losers but it was ok... i could kick any of their asses in Halo. So that evening we arrived at this kids house and there is about 16 of us. Enough to play 8v8 on Blood Gulch Capture the Flag. The favorite game type of everyone at the party. The games began at 4 in the afternoon right after school and it was a blast. What made the night even more fun was when the kid that was hosting the party, his parents came home and were like "Are these aLLL your friends??" and everyone replied.. "YES we ARE!!" and to our suprisement this kids mom wanted to know how many people where there.. we said 16 and this kids mom went out to a grocery store and bougt 32 hamburegers and 32 hotdogs.. This lady fed everyone at the party. She bought pop, candy, meat, bread, beans, the whole nine yards! It was an awesome evening and everyone left the party around 2a.m. and it was enjoyed by at.... Through and through i just hope that GoG can bring that back to games because eventhough i love online play. Nothing online could beat that LAN party! Wink
