  1. MrBigJeezy Permanant Nintendo Attire

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 24 2008

My name is Justin and I live in Colorado. I'm probably the least likely suspect of an addicted gamer, that is until I roll my sleeves up and you see a couple of my tattoos. Most importantly, I have a huge Nintendo logo tattooed vertically down my left arm. A really cool guy from The Red Door in Grand Terrace, California did an exceptionally good job at it.

I work in the natural gas and oil industry out here in the hills and mountains of the prettiest state in the country. The people I work with don't seem to understand, though. They're all a bunch of "hard-asses" with the typical sleeves full of skulls and crossbones. Don't get me wrong, I'm a hard ass too. We're roughnecks, you know, the kind Bruce Willis depicted in Armageddon. Being a hard ass is just what we do. But screw the skulls that got overdone in 1982 and continue to do so. I get so many negative comments about the logo a day it's ridiculous. They always want to know why on God's Earth would I tattoo such a thing on my arm. The answer is simple, for the same reason you would tattoo anything on your arm, because I think it's awesome as hell. Now get off my back.

Someday I'll get to be as hardcore as my cousin, who has almost two full sleeves of Zelda tattoos. That guy defines awesome. He's also an average Joe, working as an assistant manager in a warehouse in Mentone, CA. He loves video games just as much as I do.

The point is, gamers come in all shapes, ages, and sizes. I know hardcore gamer moms with three kids who'll whip your ass at Smash Bros. any day of the week. I know 60 year old guys jammin' Call of Duty 4. And we all catch hell for it because we're not the stereotypical 15 year old tweener with a Playstation.

I guess you just have to be a gamer to understand why I'd tattoo Nintendo on my arm.

You'll have to get a full pic in your profile photos of your Nintendo tat. I can make out most of it in the one photo - looks great to me.

I'm sure the community here would agree with me, this is one of the cooler stories I've seen here so far! There's a few people around here that have posted photos of their gamer tattoos, so I would say you need to do the same soon Very Happy

I can't wait to see the first GoG tattoo Laughing

We're proud to have you be a part of this community, so stay active and spread the word to those 60 year olds, because they're welcome here as well!
