1. GASP! Jack refuses to get achievements!?!?

   Yup you heard it right, I refuse to get a few certain achievements for my 360! The two I'm specifically talking about are in Guitar Hero World Tour. I will NOT purposely "rock out" as either Travis Barker nor Billy Corgan. Why? It's points right? Well, before I'm a gamer I am a musician. As such I cannot stand to show other people I attributed to either of the two, which I'll go into individually.
   
   First of all Travis Barker. Hehehe I'm a drummer, he's a drummer. He's known as one of the greatest according to one of my bosses. I CANT STAND HEARING THAT! Sure he's good, especially for a punk drummer, but no where near any of the true greats, or even just the regular greats! He's just...you know, good...Popularity does not equal talent, speed does not equal talent, appearing in a video game DOES NOT EQUAL TALENT! If he's one of your favorites, fine, I can deal with that. Saying he's one of the most talented? What about Mike Portnoy? Niel Peart? Keith Moon? Need I continue? Plus as some of you know I do have a personal vendetta against punk music...And as a final Travis Barker point, I do find it unfortunate that he was in that jet crash...Even if I hate him, I realize it's solely because of his fans and the style he plays, and no one deserves what happened to him.
   
   And Billy Corgan. I didn't have TOO much of a problem with him until I actually saw him in Guitar Hero World Tour. Now I've never been a fan of "The Smashing Pumpkins" or any of that "Oh I'm a teenager, I'm sad and I hate my parents" 90's era that I grew up in...*shudders thinking about it*. You know what I'm talking about, flooded with Sonic Youth, Nirvana, and of course the pumpkins. Even his name bothers me. It should be "Crogan" instead of "Corgan". It just sounds better IMO. Anyway so the guy comes out on stage when I get too the song "Today" which I was already sick of from the 5-7 times I played it on Rock Band 2, and I notice he's WEARING A SKIRT! That was when I said "OMG! I HATE! PEOPLE!". Ugh, and the whole song I find is extremely boring, not just in sound but also on every instrument. I'd say I'm glad the 90's are over, but he's STILL popping up along with the whole era's music with the SAME song on both games...not to mention RB and GH3 both had Cherub Rock (Ugh...bad memories of that too)...Plus these days I get to hear Pink's "So, So What" 3 times EVERY night at work...
   
   Anyway I do refuse to get those achivements out of personal pride, and nothing else. I'm not "protesting the system" or anything like some may think. Plus I guess it shows I'm not a true achievement whore . Oh and another positve (I like to end with positive statements after so much hate ) Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde are in the game which is awesome! Not to mention Jimi Hendrix (I enjoy his music everyonce in a while), Sting (I love Demolition Man, I'll have to look into more of what he's done outside of the Police...I think he was in the Police anyway...), and Ted Nugent, whos okay...Just cares way too much about hunting and has ego problems (whoops more hate )...
