So a cop showed up at my door this morning...

It was a day like any other. I let my dog out and I stayed on my stoop having a smoke when a cop showed up (now it's lucky he came then because I was going to bed soon and theres no way I'm answering the door then!). So he comes up to me and says "Hello sir" and I replied "Hey officer, is there a problem?" He then explains to me that someone in the neighborhood went missing, so of course I asked who and he says "Someone named David--" And thats when I interuppted "Oh my god, David's missing? He just called me the other day!" I then told him he lived across the street, and then he asked some more questions about the usual, you know like if he seemed strange lately, if there was anyone who may want to cause him harm, or anything else that might help. I apologized telling him that I didn't have any helpful information and we said our goodbyes and he left. Then my mom calls asking if I was okay, and I told her yeah, and that Dave had gone missing. Surprised she told me that it was supposedly me who had gone missing!
Which leads to the next chapter (I know great way to start a new paragraph so it's easier to read eh?). So I looked out a slot through my gate, and noticed the cop was over at my friends house. So I ran over to him and asked him the last name of the person who had gone missing, and of course it was mine. I told him that I wasn't missing, nor did I do anything that would provoke suspicion. I asked him who reported it and he told me all that he could say was that it was someone who attends this site and I was all like
!!! Seriously? Now I have to explain to all of my family and close friends that since I didn't come to the GoG for a couple days I was reported as missing...Basically what I'm trying to say is that just because I'm off for a couple days DOES NOT MEAN YOU NEED TO CALL THE COPS! I mean, I wasn't exactly busy, but I was doing other things, so seriously don't call the freakin' cops!!!
