As posted in the forums DREAM THEATER is going to be playing Call of Duty World at War with gamers on Xboxlive. Live was of course down today, so I had to wait until after work to send the 2 gamertags a friend request. Of course I just happened to be a day late on the notice, and now my shot at playing Call of Duty is gone...
However I look at things this way. It's not everyday someone gets to play a game with someone famous, much less Dream Theater...It's also rare even to be able to meet them at all! However, I still have my meet and greet pass, so I say to myself...Sure it would have been absolutely amazing to see how well those guys can play, but I already get to meet them. I get to see them face to face! All of them! Is it right for me to take the place of someone else who can't afford the 300 some dollar ticket to meet them? No, no it's not...I would have if I could yes, but I won't feel bad for letting someone else have their time in the sun.
