1. Lucid Dreaming

   So I litterally just had a WILD (Wake-Initiated Lucid Dream), well nap to be more exact. Basically what a WILD is, is where one goes from a normal waking state (you know, just being awake and stuff), right into a dream where you are fully concious and have control over your mind in your dream.
   
   I must admit it was quite wierd. I was conciously looking around out my completely open window, and thinking about what was happening outside...Which happened to be one of my mom's friends, one of her daughters (just to sever the head of this now...NO DIRTY THOUGHTS! Jeeze she's only like, 15 or something...that would be messed up!)...and then it gets interesting. According to this dream, which was basically a reality to me, she had another daughter with her, one who was only like 4 or 5 or something. So needless to say, thinking this was a reality, I was pretty mind****ed and then when I heard this little girl drop the N-bomb (for absolutely no reason), I started wondering where someone that young would learn such a word. Then when her mother told scolded her and called her Heidi, which just so happens to be the name of the new exec at my job, I realized it was in fact, a lucid dream.
   
   That's when I realized I could do anything! After all my research into the subject and trying to learn how to effectively have lucid dreams, I finally had my chance! Unfortunately all I could do was float around in some 3rd person ghost camera much like multiplayer game when you die...Then I had a thought come into my mind that took over and my lucid dream was gone, back to the wakened state, and now unable to sleep again.
   
   Overall it was a great experience! If one masters lucid dreaming, then they could do absolutely anything imaginable, while still feeling like it's reality! And knowing my imagination, that would quite a joyride!
   
   So uhh...anyone have any thoughts on this?

   i have had some wild dreams as well but im not gonna tell u about them. but if u need me to go ghost hunting for u thats what i do. i have all the equiptment and everthing

   , nah my WILD's wouldn't be as bad as you would probobly expect. I simply wish to have the world my playground, floating around on flying platypus shaped ice sculptures, walking on water, jumping to the X-TREME!!! Sitting behind a drum kit that would make Portnoy's Mirage Monster a mirror goblin, and basically other abnormal skills. Very little has anything to do with other people.
   
   And I was iffy about dream interpretations, but looking at recurring childhood dreams, the symbolism of the events and objects within them screams far beyond coincidence.
   
   And you blew my mind as well!

   I'm afraid to know what's in those WILDs of yours, but also find dreaming a very interesting topic.
   
   I don't believe all the dream theory out there, but I always thought a sweet invention would be a device that could read your dreams and display it to a VHS/DVD/BlueRay...or at least whatever is the current medium of the age it gets invented, haha. Image the ratings you'd have to give these types of mind shows
   
   Lastly, and to connect it to gaming...imagine a game that was like a trip through your own dreams?! Whoa...I just got mind blown!
