Guitar Hero World Tour
Craptivision (Activision for those who still believe in miracles
) finally leaves its recent rut of horrible games and produced something wonderful. As you guessed from the title; I of course am speaking of Guitar Hero World Tour. I just purchased my copy this afternoon, and I am in awe of how much it stunned me that it actually did NOT feel like Rock Band. Yet, With a game that was based off of another, it still has a minimal feel. But you are not here to hear about how much Harmonix cannot do any wrong... You want to hear more about GH4: right? Good Answer

With a very wide variety of songs from classic rock songs like Hotel California (The Eagles); alternative rock like Misery Business (Paramore); and of course Metal with songs like Scream Aim Fire (Bullet for My Valentine) there is enough for anyone to enjoy. The new Guitar has a very unique design to help us addicts heal our blisters from sliding down the old necks. The smmoth exterior is great for gliding across the buttons, and ironically enough, they have a heat sensitive pad for solos located a little higher on the neck than the rock band bass keys. These keys are nothing more than that; They sense when you are toudhing it, and will play that note (Without Strumming). Not to mention everything seems elongated now. The strum bar is much longer as is the whammy bar. The only flaw i noticed in design is: WHERE IS THE "START" BUTTON used for pausing the game? I have been reduced to pulling up the Wii Menu for pausing sake. (This complaint also came from many friends who have 360's - as they were forced to open the dashboard. The Drums are basically a re-design on the Rock Band ones... so don't expect anything special except that it has a very rubbery feel, which makes for a nice "bounceback". Overall, I love the new guitar, and the drums too. The Gameplay itself has not changed so much as i would have liked it too, but there is not much you could do with it ya know.

- and yes: the microfone is the same thing, just a USB mic. Same one as The High School Musical one, Same as the Rock Band one. ( ohnoes there's that unforgivable word again
)
P.S. There is also a demo video for GH: Metallica on it! I SO CANT WAIT TO PLAY Master of Puppets! (At least i better be able to!)
