By forum demand: Here it is.
(I warn you, This Chronicle is as long as the game.)

LEGEND OF ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS REVIEW

As in previous Zelda games, there are skeletons, possessed statues, and lizard warriors as well as some new baddies thrown into the mix, including ghosts of dead warriors, spiders that can trap enemies in cocoons, and dragons. Everything in this latest tale has been made using a graphics engine capable of pumping out visual feats that would wow even the most hardcore of XBox fans. Sparks fly as swords collide, the sun rises and falls across the sky, wolves howl at the glowing moon, and ultraviolet rays sneak through the near-impenetrable forests.

While traveling in the darkened land of Hyrule, Link himself transforms into a wolf and stalks the land with help from a mysterious companion named Midna and battles the forces of evil through a never before seen perspective.

As is form for Zelda games, frustrating puzzles and time-consuming tasks will no doubt be thrown in at the most inopportune of times. While these may frustrate you, they’ll provide excused for occasionally putting the game aside for occasional breaks you need… you know the ones, food and sleep.

Strange side quests have been added into this chronicle; for instance, one of them puts Link into a role not yet seen. Also, as in almost every other one of Link’s adventures, you’ll probably be running into the master sword as well as countless other lesser blades. You will also see the trusty bow and boomerang, though it seems the bow is now equipped with quite an array of arrows, from the explosive tipped to water-accessible ones.

The storyline will follow classic Zelda fare, with a tale about Link. This time he’s a teenager who resides in a small village just outside of Hyrule, where he is of all things a goat herder.

The job of being a goat herder actually serves as a way to get gamers familiar with the gameplay mechanics and character movements.

Riding horseback is very prevalent in Twilight Princess, even more than it was in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask for the Nintendo 64.

    MINI-PLOT

When Links friend, a little girl, is kidnapped by the marauders, he swings into action. This is where the familiar Link action starts to take shape. But before then a group of boar riders appear and begin to terrorize the villagers.

The dark riders disappear into the dead of night and exit through a gateway into another world.
Link goes after them, but when he enters the new world he becomes a wolf.

This metamorphic change causes the game to take on an entirely new dimension, one which we have never seen before in a Zelda game. Not to mention... PLEASE watch the cutscenes... They are just plain AMAZING. (Especially the one previously explained about turning into the wolf)

Since he has no hands and cannot speak, you have to figure out new ways to help Link get things done.

As a wolf you have blazing speed, improved smell and incredible vision.

In the new dark world, you become friends and allies with a mysterious new ally named Midna. In the beginning you will get the sense that she is helping you, but you will soon realize that she has her own hidden agenda.

That is all I am going to say about that.

Whilst graphics do make up most of the game, let us not forget another aspect of Zelda we know and love, its soundtrack. Nintendo's decided to go with an orchestral score and well... it's fabulous.

Make sure to pick yourself up a copy of this amazing adventure IF:
    1) You like to play RPG's
    2) You love to play RPG's
    3) You have the patience of God himself. (Yes, this game is long, and will keep you puzzled for most of the dungeons. Quick solution: Strategy Guide, right? Sure, if you want to spoil it. For us more adept Zelda fans, we know the fun is the challenge. But I'll give it to the strat giude, the pictures are amazing, not to mention you can get the limited edition guide, complete with a cloth map of Hyrule... AMAZING)

    RATING: 9.999

Oh noes. It lost 0.001 point? WHY?!?!?
I must note that this game has one sad flaw, until you get the twilight crystal (I'll let you figure out what this cool trinket does), You must walk or find your horse. Walking is fairly slow, and you'll probably find yourself using the rolling feature a lot. And here comes the 0.001.... Every time he rolls - Link makes this HEYYAIAH! sound. Which is cool for about the first hour or so, but then the rest of the 87 hours** it took me to beat this... You get the idea.

** sidenote ** Yes, the game actually took me 87 hours without the strategy guide the first play through. Then I played it again (No guide) knowing where most stuff was by memory, took me 51 hours. Then once more with guide - 45 hours. So expect a VERY long, VERY fun game.
