Halo Anniversary & Halo 4???

So with E3 2011 this week, we're getting some big game announcements. I'll admit, hearing that Microsoft announced plans for Halo 4 was a big surprise.
Many already know about Halo Anniversary, which is Combat Evolved remade I believe, but without Bungie involved, this will be interesting. I'll be honest, I'm a bit worried about this franchise after watching the dwindling interest in Halo: Reach.
Nonetheless, Halo Anniversary will feature a remastered version of the original game's campaign mode as well as updated classic multiplayer maps. Later, Halo 4 is scheduled to drop sometime in 2012. Microsoft ended their E3 2011 press conference with an impressive Halo 4 trailer that unlocks the news of another trilogy in the franchise!

Posted On Jun 11 2011Indeed! I'm a big Halo fan and am very much looking forward to these games. I was a little worried about Reach but thats because i don't tend to like prequels. But a remastered edition and and ACTUAL sequel? Awwww yeah!

Posted On Jun 08 2011Although I'm an AVID Halo Fan, Reach did kinda kill the series for me, but I'm hoping that Halo 4 will be able to revive it. It will all depend on the game mechanics and overall flow of the game.
