CyberOps Late-night Gaming Event

On Friday night there was a GoG/Scorehero get together at CyberOps in Ankeny. I had never been there, and was very impressed. It had everything you could want in a gaming haven. They had all of the next-gen consoles and a huge library of games to play. They also have some amazing gaming PCs for anything from Team Fortress 2 to World of Warcraft. It was a really great time, we had some custom Guitar Hero discs going pretty much non-stop. Even Master Chief got in on the action. It was definitely worth the sleep deprivation. Also, Thanks a ton to Silent Bob here on GoG, who was Awesome enough to let us play around there for a while. Thank You!

Posted On Jul 12 2008Thanks for the kind words. It was great to have everybody up there. Some of the plastic rock stars' skills were simply incredible.
I enjoyed the custom discs Dynafire and other members brought up to play - the note charts were mindblowing, and it was nice not to hear the same old songs being played. It was like having compilation albums of DLC that doesn't exist yet. Very cool.
