1. Assassin's Creed's Release: Everything We Hoped For?

   First off, I'd like to give Ubisoft a round of applause for their new game Assassin's Creed. This game is amazing, the graphics are terrific, each city has it's own "glow", and there are many, many NPC's in the cities. It's amazing how real they made the city's population, and every building is unique and very well defined...from the Dome of The Rock, to the peasant buildings in Damascus. Everything is finely detailed.
   
   
   
   The action, although not as intense as those trailers you saw, is still amazing. I Haven't seen any other game approach fighting the way Assassin's Creed has, every sword swing and side-step has been animated flawlessly. The actual assassinations however, are a little disappointing. The player can only kill his target with his hidden blade...fine, but when your in a sword fight with your target, would it be realistic if your sword swings didn't kill him? No...not really.
   
   
   
   Ubisoft also abandoned the "1 hit, 1 kill" system and used the "synchronization bar" instead (just a fancy name for health bar). This was not needed in Assassin's Creed, as fighting is so intuitive and easy that you can take out 25 guards without taking a hit yourself.
   
   
   
   Now we come to the escape aspect of the game...this is very well done, my only complaint for this aspect of the game is the fact that guards do not run as fast as Altair, who is apparently an Olympic champion, straight out of hell. Now, ppl can argue that the guards are wearing armor and can't run as fast! I say, what about those archers? They're only wearing a one-piece uniform with a quiver and bow attached. Oh, well.
   
   
   
   Although I probably had more cons than pros in the above review, I think the game is quite astounding and well-done. Definitely not the best but it's up there. A 4/5 from me.

   Where's the in-game movie editor? that made me sad, this game would have been even more amazing if it came with one. only reason it got a 4/5 from me.

   Awesome glimpse into this game! I asked for this chronicle in the forums and I saw you had already rocked it! Nice work and keep them coming...I look forward to trying this game out for myself...I'll let you know what I think in my own Chronicle soon
