Gaming to me is the ability to enter another world for a time. Be a soldier, super hero, etc. Get lost in your mind and be a part of a world that you control. Games are not dangerous, people who take games too far are dangerous. All we have to remember is that once the console turns off we are back in the real world.

Posted On Sep 02 2009Gaming is really just a natural extension of reading from books, isn't it? We enjoy the escapism. We lose ourselves in the narative. They used to blame books and periodicals for societies ills, anything to avoid personal responsibility. Great chronicle. I'd be interested to know what inspired it.
