1. Dragon Age: Origins

   From the moment I saw the preview of this game on the tv I KNEW i had to have it, I needed to play this game as soon as possible. Well last night i got my wish. I went and got a used copy of Dragon Age: Origins. ( why buy used? not much a differance? well because if its used i have 7 days to return it if i dont like it lol) anyhoo, I took the game home and popped on my xbox and immediatly got started. At first glance I immediatly loved the customizing for your choice of character. I went the route of Female Elf mage.( you can be a dwarf, elf or human and classifications depend on what your species is) Of course your just starting so you cant change your garbs and what not, but i was suprised to see how much detail really went into customizing. You have your basic hair style, coloring, eye color, shape, but they even made it where you can change the width and depth of your nose bridge , nasal area, lips, under bite and overbite Etc. This pleased me.
   
   After getting through creating my character I started to beome a little disaapointed as the game had a very slow start. After about an hour and 1/2 It started to pick up though, so I continued to play through. I can honestly say now im very glad I did so. I had people say " oh the games not that great" but i decided to press forward. After a few battles with what is known as darkspawn in the game, and Learning and equipping spells, new armor, weapons, and being able to be in partys in which I could swtich to any character of my choosing to play as, I began to literally Love this game.
   I got to a lvl 7 in one sitting, got myself a doggie, ( which btw you can control when hes in ur party! omg awesssome! lol) got some mad bank and had a really good time.
   
   The party system is setup very well, the only thing I personally didnt like to much is having to hold left trigger to equip things and such, but You get used to it.
   
   Another thing I love about this game, which I thought i'd hate at first is the talking. At first like i said, the game is very slow, and it seems like there is nothing but talking, but later on you realize how important the talking and convos are. I love the choices you can make in response, and Love how whatever your choice is effects the future gameplay.
   
   Example: early in the begining a character known as jowain introduces you to his lady love
   
   your choices in response:
   a. this fat cow?
   b. im glad to meet you
   c. my condolences to you lady...
   d. umm etc lol
   i dont remember exactly but that was just an example. While a lot of the convo's are serious, There are times they just make me laugh and I find it soo hard not to put the rudest funniest comebacks ! haha.
   
   Im actually heading off to go play this some more, but i just had to write that So far its totally rocking my world and I really doubt i will be returning it. I'll let you know more as i progress, and if you have any questions about this game or are intrigued about it let me know!
   
   ... It's about time the 360 came out with another great rpg, rather then all these fps, tps games! ( all though im not ganna lie i love those games too! haha)

   Does it have online play? I'm just wondering cuz if not all that customization seems kind of unnecessary, But it would be awesome to have that level of control.
   
   I was never really an RPG fan till WoW, so if its anything like that i may give it a shot, or even if its not.
