L4D2: Midnight Release

Lastnight/Tonight was the midnight release for both Assassins Creed 2 and L4d2.
I was pumped all day, and couldn't wait to head down to gamestop! 
. We got there abot 9:40pm to see people already in line. We did the basic pay and wait in line with ur receipt for the next two hours. It was exciting, fun , but overall FREEZING. It was about 38 degrees outside, and Im STILL freezing. My feet just wont get warm! 
But all is well because After a little over two hours, I got my copy of L4D2, with in game baseball bat for pre-ordering. I also got nifty " i survived l4d2 midnight massacre " necklaces. YAY! I went home and popped the game in, and I pwned the first campaign. I have got to admit it was hard, and I don't know how i got through it without dying. I had a friend question me as well because he had trouble with two other people getting through it. lol. Anyhoo The game so far is a lot more difficult than the first one, but a lot more fun as well. The new infected are a bit goofy and some are just annoying as all heck ( the jockeys and chargers so far get on my last nerve). I love the melee weapons, the fire ammo, the boomer bile used as a weapon...they have really added so much to this game, and So far i am very pleased. Can't wait to try this bad boy out on versus 
but anyhoo i uploaded some pictures from the night, I think i will be off to venture into the 2nd campaign!
....and for those wondering... Im playing as coach XD

Posted On Nov 17 2009I feel like a total neophyte, but I wasn't aware L4D2 was being released today! I knew about Assassin's Creed 2, but this other hot title had slipped my radar.
Thanks for sharing photos from your adventure and also some initial thoughts from Left 4 Dead 2! I still have to complete the first one, which Dynafire gave me, but maybe we can get a game going with you during our GoG 5,000 Party!?
