at first u might read the back of this game and think.. hmm a game with a musical composer named chopin and think...*sucks*
but this game is very good.
i havent beaten it yet, but i thought id share the game anyways
the game combines real life situations of the late chopin and combines them with a dream world and makes for a great plot line.
the game revolves around chopin lying in his death bed, dreaming, i suppose the world you are in, fighting in , and falling in love with the characters in is all in chopins dreams.
you start out as polka, a girl who sells floral powder and who can use magic. Now magic is looked down upon in the game because if you have the ability to use magic it means you are sick with a disease and are going to die soon.
u want to do somthing to change the world before u die, so u want to go see the count about the high taxes on everything because ur village is poor because people stopped buying floral powder because they can get mineral powder cheaper ( medicines).
u also switch off and play as 2 young boys who scavange and take care of kids living in a sewer by stealing food once again because of all the high taxes. so you 2 also want to go see the count. chopin eventually enters the dream world himself and tags along with polka.
Eventually u all meet up and start your journey together...Fighting many enimies along the way, meeting new friends who join your party, and gaining plenty of exp. on the way.
the battle system is fun and fairly simple to use.
u have special attacks that can be used frequently, but all your special attacks differ depending on if your standing in light or standing in the dark...
anywyas i guess im just rambling on.
its a great rpg, with great use of music ,and color. the story is great, the characters are awesome, and even the options to change the language of your story from english to japanese is pretty cool too.
so after all that insane all over the place talking, i give the game a 9.0
