the thrift adventures continue
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 02 2008
Okay for those who have followed my thrift adventures, I first have to apologize for not writting and updating our finds in the last month!
But you know what, here is some updates for you!
First off i guess i should talk about our amazing finds this past weekend. Loosh and I decided to go hit up some garage sales, and we are so happy we did! We got a big box full of video game stuff for 30.00!!!
Now...I know most of you are wondering " Kupo! what was in the box?! ".. well im going to tell you what was in the box!!
this lovely box we bought for 30.00 contained the following:
An almost new WORKING sega master system, a 1st gen. Sega Genesis ( complete and working), a 2nd gen. Sega Genesis still in the box! *drools*, 10 sega gen. Games, included the ever popular echo the dolphin, sonic the hedgehog, and mrs. pacman, 3 sega card games, 2 master system games, the original tombraider, NEW on pc, still in its box , croc NEW still in the box for pc, working ps1, with memory card, 2 controllers, and crash bandicoot game, and the sega light phaser gun.
Now we have done a ton of thrift and bargain shopping for games, but by far this is one of our best deals! we are super happy with our find and are quite pleased!
Now as far as this last month, i dont remember everything we have picked up.. but i have to mention we got a brand new snes, with ten games for 20.00, mario rpg and mario is missing for 1.00, and so on.
it seems like a lot of money here and there, but hey ... do some math here.... 30.00 for that giant bundle of stuff, 20.00 for the snes bundle, and 1.00 for the 2 games... thats 51.00... which is less than one new game!!!
So i hope this gave u all some entertainment... i will try to keep up with my thrift store adventures more often!
