Why should I care?

I have been gaming for a long time. One of my earlies memories was playing space invaders. That is why I think it is very important to stand up for our rights as gamers. There have been laws, that if they would have passed, would have killed off gaming. You also heard in the media all the time how gaming is making us fat and violent. I am glad that there is a organization like the ECA that is out there fighting for my right to game. That is why I joined because they give me a voice as a gamer. So that is why we all should care because if we don't then one day memories like mine will be a thing of the passed!

Posted On Nov 14 2009ECA? I'm writing a little soething in my PoliSci class about interest Groups, i think i shall include them in that.
And i totally agree with them and you guys. But it could be worse, we could live in Australia.

I strongly believe in personal freedom, and I hate how people are trying to censor (heavily I should add) games just because they don't want THEIR kids to play them...Which is completely fine if they don't want their kids to play them, but when they talk about censoring the rest of the world because of them? It's selfish and goes against everything America stands for!
