Player Chronicle -- Posted on May 04 2010

I have to admit, this was one of the best LAN's I have ever attended. The venue was a bit small for the amount of people that was there, but it was still good enough to fit everyone. I brought my girlfriend along to experience it, but she had no fun since there wasn't anything for her to do but watch nerds play games lol. My team was "Michiganimals" and we swept the competition. Meeting some of the people there was really fun, and most of them were pretty cool. I remember before our match against "Armada" some kid told me to make sure I flamed the big bald guy on their team since he was the one trash talking every team. I didn't really "flame" anyone, but when I was top chopper (On Highrise), I missed 3 bursts on two kids that were shooting at me. I laid down, then popped back up, one bursted one kid, then jumpshotted another for a two-peice. I yelled "You suck" and kept on playing. Their coach, who looked like Napoleon Dynamite didn't help much either after we spawn trapped them. All in all, it was an easy tournament. The staff was really cool and were fun to chill with. The sponsors who helped out did an AMAZING job. Astro Mixamps, free red bull, I mean who can complain? We went undefeated in the tournament and knocked out the toughest teams that were there. Feel free to add me on here and ask any question you may feel. This is the 2nd consecutive tournament that "Michiganimals" have won, but the first Gamers For Giving victory for us. By the way, anybody that didn't care about why the event was put together, you really can't call yourself a gamer. We are supposed to be looked at as big timers to little kids who enjoy playing games, and people take it too far. This event was for charity, and I'm glad me and my team could help out. Shoutouts to Hastro, Walshy, and Tots who took the time out to volunteer and play with their fans. Hastro was one of the most chill people to talk to, and Walshy has a funny personality. BTW, you forgot my dollar walsh haha

Thanks Ben, and Randy, chill out. Your boy called us fags in his little chronicle thing for no reason, so I think it's only right to get a little even. You don't want to scrim because my PCL team is better than my LAN team which would make it worse for you. Good luck in whatever you think your going to accomplish from this

This event was a great time and I'm glad your team won the championship, although a little more sportsmanship might be a better road to take.

We're all gamers and friends of this event, so I hope you can stay competitive, but also befriend these other teams that provided you some good competition!

Thanks for getting involved around here and I enjoyed your perspective of GFG 2010! Be sure to connect with the event's GoG profile and continue to share this unique video game community with your whole crew...
