X360 vs. PS3: A Developer's Point-of-View
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Mar 03 2009
I came across an interesting set of articles earlier... The first article compares the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3, but from an unbiased opinion of a developer who has led projects for both consoles. It was written shortly after the launch of the PS3, and the succeeding articles were written one and two years later, respectively. They're pretty interesting reads, and give some decent insight into the whole argument, without any fanboy flaming from either side.
Here are the links:

I would definitely recommend these articles to anyone who's considering purchasing a new console. Let me know what you think of them.
Edit:
@Ben: I think the Wii is left out, simply because it's a whole different beast. It is technologically inferior to the other two (controllers aside), and caters to a slightly different audience now. Also, the article was spurred by the plague of 360 vs. PS3 threads that litter the internet.

Posted On Mar 03 2009Where does the Wii fit into this conversation? lol...is it considered a past generation console now?
Seriously though, I read about this over in your GoG Forum discussion and found it heartbreaking to hear what PS3 thinks of independent developers. Don't they know that the best ideas can sometime spawn from noobies?!
Owell...long live Microsoft.
