WoW game director up and quits?

Alright, well not quite. Jeff Kaplan has stepped down from his post on the WoW team to help blizzards unannounced Next-Gen MMO... Hear that? A new world of warcraft!? or dare we dream.... World of starcraft?

Posted On Feb 12 2009My guess would be replacement, I've been on the forefront of WoW and altough the game is still amazing the graphics are going downhill with the pushes in video games over the year. They implement new graphic systems every now and then but theres only so much they can try to do. I give WoW another couple years in the limelight until blizz unveils their new project and expect WoW players to make the jump.

Posted On Feb 12 2009Well, I have no idea what they could be working on, but this definitely indicates something big. I have to wonder though, does this mean that WoW is going to be pushed to the wayside? Is this game going to be WoW's replacement, or will it attempt to find a niche in a different part of the MMO market? I guess we'll find out eventually.
