The title says it all, i can't flip through the channels on t.v without seeing reality shows for models, or lumberjacks, or cab drivers, steroid abusers, porn stars, ect. When do we as gamers get a turn in the spotlight?A chance to finnaly crush these lingering stereotypes that gamers are nothing more then geeky kids with ADD who look for nothing more then flashing lights and big noises. Sure there have been documentarys about the video games, but nothing as to look into the people who enjoy them most. If you think about all the people you know who play games its quite a alarming diffrent group of people, from bar bouncers, to nail salon workers. Each gamer is diffrent, male and female, black and white, i think its hindsight someone somewhere showed the ignorant just how wrong they are about the average gamer. So someone grab a camera and start filming, who knows? maybe it will go somewhere.

I think a documentary about gamers would be the best, if you examined a few different types of gamers. Maybe have one person who plays video games socially, another who enjoys playing by themselves, and a few others that compete in live tournaments ranging from local events to actual professionals.

This type of documentary would show the huge range of gamer types and I think it would be entertaining.

They could always document The GoG too Very Happy
