Posted On Sep 16 2009Well you should go to any event you can. I think it would be a good thing since you are pursuing that field to see first hand what its becoming as far as competetive gaming goes. Yeah I have jumped on COD4 several times. I was really good at 2-hated 3 and then liked 4 but just couldn't believe how much trash I heard. Maybe it was a fluke and I just was attacked all those particular times but it was bad. I hate to sterio type but it was always from black guys and it just seems that there are a lot of them that play that game. It seems in Halo that I get it really bad from them too but there just don't seem to be as many or something. Don't get me wrong I have some great friends that are black that I love to death and I have met plenty nice ones that are respectful to women. I just avoid COD4 after all those bad experiences-you have no idea how bad each one of them were. Anhow, enough of that lol yeah if your girl plays too she should play with us girls. I play with a select number of girls that are really cool and very good at the game. Even if she isn't lol don't worry we have big backpacks=) Yeah, hit me up next time you are on alrighty!

Posted On Sep 11 2009I love to compete. I am extremely competetive-lol just ask my online friends=) Pro gamers are great to play against. You really can't get better unless you play against better people. I have not attended any events this year but might go to MLG Aneheim (I lived there for several years). You would have enjoyed Dallas. I have never been to a Dallas event but I hear they are a lot of fun to go to. The highest I ever placed at MLG was top 48 and we would have gone higher had we not had to play Breaking Point who made 6th that event. My team had also only been together 2 weeks! Last year I went to Meadowlands, San Diego, and Orlando and then I was asked to play for PMS to compete at the WCG Nations Championships. We had a unique opportunity to take Final Boss' spot because it fell right on the weekend of Dallas. So we were able to compete against the top ten in the states. Believe it or not we came in 4th! In my opinion if you want to have a better time go to a WCG event. They have a lot more to do and all of us had MLG experience but enjoyed WCG a lot more. That is cool that you are studying in a field you love. If gaming continues at the rate its going I'm sure you will have no problem with a career in it. Well, I have Call Of Duty 4 but don't play it much after I was turned off by how much trash talk there was towards women on that game-worse than any halo stuff I've heard and that saying alot. I stick to Halo-its what I'm good at. If ya play then hit me up. Just send me a msg on my tag ReefGirl and I'll find a spot for ya on my list. =)
