Batman Arkham Asylum!
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Aug 31 2009
Gee Willikers! Batman Arkham Asylum is freaking amazing!
I've been looking forward to this game for over a year and I'm more then pleased with it. I'm a huge Batman fan, and the game is nothing short of amazing and a huge ode to the Batman series.
The game covers basic villains you expect to see in Arkham like of course The joker, Harley Quinn, Posion Ivy, Bane, etc... but theres even glimpses into other characters not so well known such as Calendar Man, Mad Hatter, Humpty Dumpty, etc.
The Scarecrow nightmare levels are extremely haunting and memorizing, and really this game is just so good lol. I feel like a real detective when I play it and cant seem to put it down!
So kudos to the makers of this game. It makes any Batman fan truly proud I think, and may bring in some new fans as well.
PS - The Batarang is plastic which sucks, but I'm still way pleased as we can see

Posted On Sep 01 2009The part that actually freaked me out on the Scarecrow parts is when you have to open the **** ****. Sorry but I edited that part because of possible spoilers but it is when you are in the morgue

Posted On Aug 31 2009Everybody seems to be really liking this game, which makes me want to at least give it a rent. Whether or not this happens I'm not sure, but as always, thanks for the great insight in this nice little video game review

Posted On Aug 30 2009I too am pleased with this game. I only wish there were more villains. Some of the "boss" battles felt too easy for me, but overall I really like this game. The challenge maps are a blast.

Posted On Aug 30 2009I wasn't too impressed with the demo. I thought the production quality was excellent and it felt like I was really taking control of the dark knight, but the game play elements just seemed to get extremely repetitive. I may have to try it out again at some point, but it just didn't entice me enough to shell out dough for it at this point.
